Tell The Truth

Baz appeared in this 1980's quiz show, hosted by Graeham Garden, in which celebrities are asked to guess which of three candidates is who he or she claimed to be. Here, Baz passes himself off as Bill Grant, a yeti hunter. Did he fool the panel? You'll have to watch the videos to find out.

Sweet Thing with temple block solo

An early (1926) recording of 'Sweet Thing' by Williams / Kahn and Verges, performed by the Fletcher Henderson Band and featuring, we think, Joe 'Kaiser' Marshall on drums. Those with patience will enjoy the delightful temple block solo after the vocal section. Those who can't wait can listen to the solo looped.

Walter Widdop

These two sample tracks, recorded in 1929, of the great Walter Widdop singing Handel are among Baz's special favourites.

Musical Saw

The brilliant musical sawyer, Richard Watson, made this recording of In Blue Of Unlit Oceans, a piece Baz composed as part of the incidental music for the Barry Fantoni play, Modigliani, My Love. Baz is considering making a studio recording using full production facilities and possibly including a zither in the accompaniment. Listen to some more saw here.
