Angel
'Angel' was the working title for a film involving animation and live action. Due to the usual problems concerning funding the film was not completed. The music track included here was to accompany a sequence featuring a violinist who, while busking on the street, witnesses an angel falling to earth. In the opening bars, Gill Morley, the soloist in this excerpt, is deliberately emulating the tired playing of the old fiddler.
